Last week we attended the American Land Title Association’s biggest event of the year with over 1,000 professionals from all walks of the title industry: ALTA ONE. Don’t worry if you had to miss it (there’s always next year!), or you golfed through it, because we have a video of some of the highlights (warning: much of it involves a giant, dancing house mascot!)
We Lead. We Deliver. We Protect.
In the opening remarks we learned all about ALTA’s work to rebrand the industry through the “Our Values” initiative that not only works as a cultural guide for the industry, but also serves as a cornerstone for how the industry is presented to the greater public.
- We Lead: We are the authority in real estate transactions. We innovate for the benefit of our customers.
- We Deliver: Our customers trust us to do the right thing, the right way—before, during and after the transaction. We sweat the small stuff to assure that land transfer is accurate, swift and secure.
- We Protect: We protect the property rights of those we serve. We reduce risk so our customers have peace of mind.
ALTA announced record-setting membership with 6,344 member companies.
The organization, originally founded in 1907, has been steadily growing in memberships for the last 8 years, surpassing 2016’s numbers by over 100 new members.
PropLogix announces title curative services
You may have seen us walking around Market ONE in those classy flamingo suits, but we also announced along with Payoff Tracking, we’re now offering title curative services to clear issues found on the title commitment and keep your closing on track.
Networking and Learning about Integrations
The opening party at Market ONE offered a really awesome opportunity to connect with all the movers and shakers of the land title industry. This was the first time PropLogix was a sponsor, and we were so excited to see our software integration parters and other vendors all over the trade show floor.
Going above and beyond in today’s market
This was a truly inspiring session from Cynthia McGovern of Orange Leaf Consulting. Here’s what really stood out to us: If you were to ask everyone in your company who is responsible for sales, who would raise their hands? The truth is that it should be everyone in your company, not just your sales and marketing people. Cynthia stressed the importance of empowering your teams at all levels and all touch-points with customers to make “moments that matter.”
