PropLogix 2018 Rap-Up

Lindsey Gordon

Slap me. Is 2018 coming to a close already? I am baffled. Did this year fly by for you as well? If you’ve got yourself 2 minutes and 40 seconds, you can watch the kind of fun we had this year. Or skip on and read the highlights, but the video is going to be a LOT more entertaining.

A Look Back at 2018 with PropLogix

We launched Tax Certificates for Clients

It was something we received a lot of requests about in years prior, so we were really excited to respond to those requests, and we launch Tax Certificates to a national audience. If you’re unfamiliar, the service details all the individual taxing authorities  for a property and includes the taxing jurisdiction, exemption amount, tax rate, property assessment details and more.

We Threw Some of Our Best Parties Yet

I feel like we say this every year, but we really outdid ourselves this time around. From ice sculptures shaped like everyone’s favorite house mascot, to dancing ladies in green, to an AMA after-party in Los Angeles where we rubbed elbows with the stars — we had a blast with everyone at FLTA, ALTA, and NS3.

We Added to Our Core Values with the PropLogix Propositions

Every company needs guiding values and principles by which they operate. We’ve had our core values for several years now, but this year we elaborated on them by creating “Propositions”, which can be best be described as reminders to put those values into practice. See them all in this video.

We Hired Our 100th Employee and THEN Some

We waited for this milestone with such excitement knowing it was bound to happen at some point in 2018. Little did we know we’d zoom past it and hire dozens more. People moved to different departments, we grew our development and technology teams, we hired industry heavy-hitters like Dave Daley and Heather Tally, and we quickly outgrew our current space. We even had to hire a recruiting specialist to keep up with the demand of finding and on-boarding all of our new talent.

We Did More Webinars, and You Really Seemed to Like Them

First, we launched our Excel for Closers series at the beginning of the year, then we held our 3-part series of Everything You Need to Know About Land Surveys and finished it off with our own Mandy Seckinger’s Uncovering Hidden Property Debt & Municipal Liens  — which we were able to offer for FREE Florida CE and CLE credits — something we intend to do much more of in the future.

What Will 2019 Bring?

Without giving away too much information, we’ll be focusing on delighting our clients in 2019. We’ll be offering new services and new webinar series. Also, we’ll be breaking ground on the office of our dreams (YEAH!), with the anticipation of continuing to grow our staff. Have an awesome New Year!
