SARASOTA, Florida. – PropLogix, a provider of title support services, is asking title professionals to take a survey to share their closing experiences. The results will be compiled and presented in their 3rd Annual State of the Title Industry Report.
In previous years, the company has sought feedback from processors, title agents, and real estate attorneys. This year’s survey incorporates questions for real estate agents and lenders as their roles pertain to the closing process.
Last year, the company got more than 400 survey responses and compiled that data into a 60-page report detailing the biggest challenges, such as lack of time and mounting responsibility, that the title industry faces. This year they hope to receive at least 500 responses.
In the 2019 report, 94% of respondents say they had run into title issues neglected in a previous closing and 64% of respondents say their peers’ closing due diligence was lacking.
